BUDAWEL RESPULE provides Budesonide 0.5 mg/2 mL in a convenient nebuliser suspension designed for anti-inflammatory control of selected chronic respiratory conditions. By targeting airway inflammation rather than simply relieving symptoms, it supports long-term respiratory management when prescribed appropriately. The unit-dose respule presentation provides convenient, measured administration and makes it well suited to paediatric, pulmonary and institutional settings within a PCD Pharma Respiratory Care portfolio.

It is used as maintenance anti-inflammatory therapy in selected airway conditions such as asthma and other physician-diagnosed inflammatory respiratory disorders.

No, Budesonide is not a substitute for a rapid-acting bronchodilator during acute bronchospasm.

Its benefit depends on controlling underlying airway inflammation over time.

Administer through a suitable nebuliser exactly as prescribed. Rinse the mouth after nebulisation when possible and maintain good oral hygiene. Do not stop regular corticosteroid therapy abruptly without medical advice. Inform the physician about respiratory infections, tuberculosis history, glaucoma or other corticosteroid use. Patients should have an appropriate rescue medicine where indicated by their respiratory-care plan.

Budesonide nebulisation may cause throat irritation, hoarseness, cough or oral fungal infection such as oral thrush. Because it is an inhaled corticosteroid, rinsing the mouth after treatment can reduce local adverse effects. With prolonged or high-dose exposure, systemic corticosteroid effects may rarely occur. Children receiving long-term corticosteroid therapy may require appropriate monitoring of growth and overall treatment response under medical supervision.

BUDAWEL RESPULE: Budesonide is an inhaled corticosteroid that acts locally within the respiratory tract to suppress airway inflammation. It enters inflammatory cells and influences gene transcription through glucocorticoid receptors, reducing the production of inflammatory mediators and decreasing airway swelling, mucus production and hyper-responsiveness. Its primary role is control of underlying airway inflammation rather than immediate relief of an acute bronchospasm attack. Regular use is important when prescribed for maintenance therapy.
