IPRAWEL-LS RESPULE combines Levosalbutamol and Ipratropium Bromide in a nebuliser solution designed to provide complementary bronchodilator activity for patients with clinically significant airway narrowing, wheezing and bronchospasm. Its dual mechanism can provide broader airway-opening support than a single bronchodilator when appropriately indicated. The unit-dose respule format offers convenience, measured dosing and strong utility within the PCD Pharma Respiratory, Pulmonary & Nebuliser portfolio.

It is used for bronchospasm and airflow limitation in selected respiratory conditions.

They work through different pathways, allowing complementary airway relaxation.

It may be prescribed for acute or maintenance bronchodilator therapy depending on the clinical situation.

No.

Use through the prescribed nebuliser with the correct technique and dosing frequency. Avoid directing the nebuliser mist toward the eyes, particularly in patients with glaucoma risk. Inform the physician about cardiovascular disease, glaucoma, urinary problems or prostate enlargement. Do not exceed the prescribed frequency. Severe breathlessness or poor response requires immediate medical evaluation.

Possible adverse effects include dry mouth, tremor, headache, dizziness, palpitations, increased heart rate, throat irritation and cough. Ipratropium may rarely cause blurred vision or worsening eye pressure if nebulised medication reaches the eyes, while Levosalbutamol can produce cardiovascular stimulation. Patients with glaucoma, urinary retention, prostate enlargement or significant cardiac disease may require additional caution and medical monitoring.

IPRAWEL-LS RESPULE: Levosalbutamol stimulates beta-2 receptors in bronchial smooth muscle, increasing cyclic AMP and producing bronchodilation. Ipratropium Bromide is an antimuscarinic bronchodilator that blocks muscarinic receptors in the airways, reducing vagally mediated bronchoconstriction and helping decrease airway secretions. Their complementary mechanisms provide dual bronchodilation, improving airflow through both beta-adrenergic stimulation and inhibition of cholinergic bronchoconstriction.
