Allergic rhinitis and related allergic symptoms; Montelukast may also have a role in asthma management.
Levocetirizine may cause drowsiness in some patients.
Use consistently as prescribed. Avoid driving if drowsy. Montelukast has been associated with neuropsychiatric effects; report significant mood or behavioral changes promptly.
Headache, drowsiness, fatigue, dry mouth, nausea and abdominal discomfort may occur.
LEMONTO: Montelukast blocks leukotriene receptors involved in airway and allergic inflammation, while Levocetirizine selectively blocks peripheral H1 histamine receptors to reduce allergy symptoms.
