NIAMOX-D is a combination ophthalmic preparation containing Moxifloxacin and Dexamethasone. It provides antibacterial action along with anti-inflammatory support for appropriate eye conditions.
It may be prescribed for certain bacterial eye conditions accompanied by inflammation.
It should not be used unless specifically prescribed.
It helps control eye inflammation.
Use only under ophthalmic supervision. Do not use for longer than prescribed because prolonged corticosteroid use may increase the risk of complications. Regular eye-pressure monitoring may be advised during prolonged treatment.
Burning, stinging, irritation, blurred vision, increased eye pressure or delayed healing may occur.
NIAMOX-D PCD combines Moxifloxacin, an antibiotic, with Dexamethasone, a corticosteroid. Moxifloxacin helps control susceptible bacterial infection, while Dexamethasone helps reduce inflammation, redness and swelling associated with the condition.
