WELEVO-OZ contains Levofloxacin 250mg + Ornidazole 500mg. It combines antibacterial and antiprotozoal/anaerobic activity and is used under medical supervision for selected gastrointestinal infections such as diarrhea and dysentery.
It is used for selected cases of diarrhea and dysentery when prescribed.
Alcohol should be avoided during treatment.
Take strictly as prescribed and complete the course. Maintain adequate fluid intake to prevent dehydration. Avoid alcohol during treatment. May cause dizziness or drowsiness; avoid driving if affected. Consult your doctor if diarrhea persists beyond 48 hours or if blood is present in stools.
Headache, dizziness, nausea, diarrhea, insomnia, vomiting, rash, itching, hives and increased sweating may occur.

WELEVO-OZ combines Levofloxacin and Ornidazole to provide complementary antibacterial and antiprotozoal/anaerobic antimicrobial action. It is used in the treatment of infective diarrhea and dysentery caused by susceptible organisms. Levofloxacin inhibits bacterial DNA replication, while Ornidazole damages the DNA of susceptible anaerobic microorganisms and parasites.
