WELICEF S 750 is an injectable Ceftriaxone-Sulbactam formulation designed for selected susceptible bacterial infections requiring parenteral antibacterial treatment. Its combination of third-generation cephalosporin activity and beta-lactamase inhibition gives it a differentiated clinical profile suitable for hospital, institutional and specialist practice. It strengthens the breadth of a PCD Pharma Injectable Antibiotic portfolio by offering an intermediate-strength combination presentation.

It inhibits certain beta-lactamases and helps protect Ceftriaxone.

Selected susceptible bacterial infections requiring injectable therapy.

No, because those conditions are generally viral and do not benefit from antibiotics.

Use only according to physician direction after assessment of allergy history and clinical indication. Consider culture and sensitivity data where feasible. Monitor patient response, relevant laboratory values and the development of adverse effects. Avoid unnecessary broad-spectrum antibiotic exposure and review therapy once microbiological and clinical information is available.

Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, headache, rash and injection-site reactions may occur. Hypersensitivity reactions are possible, especially with a history of beta-lactam allergy. Liver-related laboratory changes or other treatment-related abnormalities may occasionally be seen. Serious rash, facial swelling, breathing difficulty, severe diarrhea or unexpected clinical deterioration should prompt immediate medical evaluation and appropriate intervention.

WELICEF S 750: Ceftriaxone inhibits bacterial cell-wall formation by binding to penicillin-binding proteins, while Sulbactam inhibits selected beta-lactamases that can compromise beta-lactam antibiotics. This complementary action supports bactericidal activity of Ceftriaxone while helping maintain activity against appropriate beta-lactamase-producing organisms. The combination is intended for susceptible bacterial infections where injectable broad-spectrum cephalosporin therapy is clinically justified.
