TERIBRO-AM is a convenient paediatric anti-cough and respiratory drop formulation combining mucolytic, expectorant and bronchodilator support. It is designed for selected cases where cough is accompanied by thick mucus and bronchial tightness, helping loosen secretions and support easier airway clearance. The dropper format enables convenient age-appropriate administration, making it a practical addition to a PCD Pharma Paediatric Respiratory & Anti-Cough portfolio.

It is used for productive cough associated with mucus and bronchospasm when appropriately prescribed.

Yes, Ambroxol and Guaiphenesin support mucus clearance.

Terbutaline may occasionally produce these effects.

Age and clinical suitability should always be determined by the physician.

Administer only according to the prescribed paediatric dose and use the supplied dropper for accurate measurement. Do not combine with other bronchodilator or cough preparations without professional advice. Maintain adequate hydration unless medically restricted. Parents should seek medical attention if the child develops breathing difficulty, persistent fever, bluish lips, severe wheezing or worsening respiratory symptoms.

The formulation is generally well tolerated when used at the recommended dose. Some children may experience nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, headache, tremor, restlessness or dizziness. Terbutaline may occasionally cause palpitations or increased heart rate, particularly in sensitive patients. Excessive dosing can increase these effects. Persistent wheezing, breathing difficulty, severe tremor or unusual drowsiness should be assessed promptly by a healthcare professional.

TERIBRO-AM: Ambroxol helps reduce the viscosity of thick respiratory mucus by improving mucociliary clearance, making secretions easier to expel. Terbutaline is a bronchodilator that relaxes bronchial smooth muscle and helps improve airflow. Guaiphenesin acts as an expectorant, increasing respiratory tract fluid and helping loosen mucus. Together, these actions provide complementary support in productive cough associated with mucus and bronchial tightness.
